This 2023 Martin D-28 Authentic 1937 is in EXCELLENT used condition.  Only the slightest signs of use.    

The action and neck angle on this guitar are pretty much ideal.  As measured with StewMac digital gauge: 

 

12th fret action - .090" on the 6th string

12th fret action - .070" on the 1st string

7th fret relief - .004"

Saddle height - approximately .118" (average) 

 

Other than the fact that Martin has substituted Guatemalan rosewood in lieu of Brazilian, this guitar is built using the same methods and materials that were used in 1937.

VTS Adirondack top with even grain pattern and great color. 

 

Photos show the guitar in different lighting conditions (outdoor shade, indoor, outdoor indirect sunlight) so hopefully you can get a good idea of the color.  It is darker than the first photos would have you believe.

Guatemalan back and sides.  1937 Authentic neck profile.  Hand-scalloped, forward shifted X braces made of Adirondack and tucked under the bridge plate.

This dreadnought will NOT disappoint.  No scratches, dents, dings or other damage.  Only the slightest swirls on the pickguard reveal that this isn't a factory new guitar.

  

Comes in the original Martin Authentic series factory case.  (photos of actual case are available if requested)

Smoke free, pet free, humidity controlled home.  Always stored in the case.
